New marine materials are the material basis for equipment and facilities in the fields of ship transportation, ocean engineering, marine resources, fishery production and marine environment. They involve many key and stranglehold technologies, and have urgent market demand. They are of great significance and relevance to the promotion of marine ecological protection, marine economic development and safeguarding of marine rights and interests, cultivation and expansion of strategic emerging marine industries, and building of a modern marine industrial system.

During the 2022 China Marine Economy Expo, Shenzhen Alumni Association of Harbin Engineering University (Enterprise Alliance) and Shenzhen Marine Fusion Innovation Research Institute will join hands with leading ocean-related institutions to hold the New Marine Materials Professional Forum, in order to promote the enterprise-university-research institute collaborative innovation and achievement transformation in related technological fields, develop the "Blue Partnership" and contribute to the high-quality and innovative development of the marine industry.
