Asian Star AnchorChain Co., Ltd. Jiangsu (AsAc) was founded in 1981. With 60% of its productsexported to many countries and regions around the world, AsAc is now theproduction and export base of anchor chains and offshore mooring chains inChina.
Category andGrade:AM2 and AM3 anchor chain for ship use，ORQ, R3, R3s, R4, R4s,R5 and R6 offshore mooringchains for offshore engineering facility and their accessories. It has beenrecognized by 11 major international classification societies, and the miningchain has obtained the national coal mine safety certification.
R5 mooring chainwas supplied by ASAC and applied on the 3,000 meter deep-sea semi-submersibleoil rig HYSY981 of CNOOC .As a major participant of “Deepwater Semi-submersibleDrilling R&D and Application” project,ASAC was awarded the Top Prize ofState Science and Technology Awards in 2004.
ASAC has also ledthe development of ISO international standard ISO20438 for offshore mooringchain which was published in 2017. R6, the highest level of mooring products,was successfully developed and approved by class societies after several years’hard working. In November 2018, ASAC was awarded “Top Enterprise of SingleManufacturing Industry” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
