Vogelsang develops, produces and distributes highly-engineered equipment that is easy to maintain. The head office is located in Essen/Oldb. in Lower Saxony, Germany. Founded in 1929 as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, the company has grown to become a specialist in individually configurable machines, plants and systems for the agricultural, biogas, industrial, transportation and wastewater sectors.
Vogelsang develops solutions that are individually tailored to the technical requirements of each sector. Established products include the elastomer-coated rotary lobe pump, which was invented by Vogelsang in 1970 and has been continuously developed ever since. Today, for example, it is used in biogas plants and sewage treatment plants, on tankers in the agriculture sector, in vacuum disposal for trains, buses and ships, and in an ever increasing range of industries. With the invention of the dribble bar linkage and the precision distributor, Vogelsang has played a major role in modern liquid manure spreading technology.
