Ning Yang, a research fellow and doctoral supervisor. He was once the assistant to the President of Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy of China Minmetals Group, Director of the national key laboratory of deep-sea mineral resource exploitation and utilization technology, and is currently the Deputy Secretary (acting) and Deputy CPC Secretary General of Institute of Deep-sea Science and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in deep-sea engineering research related to deep-sea resource development and was appointed as the chief scientist of the deep-sea mining project and deputy chief engineer of the deep-sea mining system in China.

Bernard van Leggelo, Executive General Manager of SBM China/Singapore (joined SBM as Project Manager in 1995), Director of Operations of Houston Office in 2003, General Manager of Houston Office in 2007, and was appointed as Executive Director of SBM Group, and Director of Product Line of FPSO in 2013. In February 2018, Bernard was appointed as Executive General Manager of SBM China/Singapore. Prior to joining SBM Offshore, Bernard held positions like project manager and director at Offshore Technology and Sparta. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Ecole Centrale Bruxelles and a master’s degree in Ocean Engineering of the University of Connecticut.
Dehong Fan, General Manager of Chinese Shipping Department of RINA (Registo Italiano Navade), Chief Surveyor, Senior Engineer, accredited Surveyor of Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China. He has worked in the shipping and shipbuilding industry for more than 25 years. His previous positions include Surveyor of China Classification Society, Senior Surveyor and Chief Surveyor of the RINA (Registo Italiano Navade), Manager of Shipbuilding of Chinese Shipping Department of RINA (Registo Italiano Navade), Deputy Manager and Manager of Chinese Shipping Department of RINA (Registo Italiano Navade).
Jiang Zhu, Chief Engineer of CIMC Marine Engineering, former Director of Technical Research and Development Center of the CNOOC Research Institute, part-time professor of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and Sun Yat-sen University. She has carried out and accomplished the research and design of more than 20 large and medium-sized oil and gas field development projects in the Bohai Sea, East China Sea and South China Sea. She completed the “Overall Development Plan of Nanpu 35-2 Oilfield” against world-class offshore heavy oil development difficulties, and the “Feasibility Study on Localization of Offshore Modular Drilling Rigs” and other key scientific research projects. She obtained 19 invention patents and 13 utility model patents. She has published more than 20 academic papers and monographs. She has successively won the honorary titles of “National Labor Model”(2010), “National Women's Meritorious Service Model”, “China's Top Ten Marine Figures of 2011”, “China’s Excellent Economic Women of 2012”.
Oyvind Hellan ，挪威创新研究中心副总裁，在海洋和海上技术、研发、研究管理和创新/业务开发方面拥有30多年的经验。拥有挪威理工大学（NTNU）结构工程硕士学位和海洋技术博士学位。研究海洋和近海技术的许多领域：海上结构的完整性评估；船舶和海上结构的完整性监测和操作员指导系统；流动保证和多相流；海上流体动力学，波浪冲击和非线性负载；用于基础设施和城市发展的模块化多用途浮式结构。
Oyvind Hellan, Vice President of Norwegian Centre for Innovation Researchwith over 30 years of experience in marine and offshore technology, research and development, research management and innovation/business development. He has a Master’s degree in structural engineering and Doctor’s degree in marine technology of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He investigated many fields concerning marine and offshore technologies: holistic assessment of offshore structures; holistic monitoring and operator guidance systems for ships and offshore structures; flow assurance and multiphase flow; offshore hydrodynamics, wave impact and nonlinear loads; modular multipurpose floating structures for infrastructure and urban development.
He now serves as Vice President of SINTEF Ocean of SINTEF Group, Scandinavia’s largest and one of Europe’s largest independent research institutions.
