Professor Yong Bai's research is mainly about the following aspects: ocean engineering structures, offshore pipelines and risers, engineering risk analysis and safety assessment, composite pipes, offshore oil subsea production systems, offshore engineering drilling machinery, offshore wind and tidal current energy, submarine unmanned vehicles and dynamic positioning systems, offshore sensors, research and construction of offshore big data, development and application of marine artificial intelligence, etc.
Major General Xiping Du, former Deputy Commander of North China Sea Fleet, and now is member of the Strategic Advisory Committee of the PLA.
Hongde Qin, Professor, Tutor of the PH.D. students, and Director of State Key Laboratory of Underwater Vehicle Technology in Harbin Engineering University. He currently works as member of the Experts Panel on Ships of the Science and Technology Committee of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry of National Defense, Director of the Marine Physics Branch of Chinese Society for Oceanography, Deputy Director of the Deep Sea Equipment Group of the Ship Mechanics Committee of the China Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, and member of the editorial board of several international and domestic academic periodicals.
He has conducted research in the areas of underwater vehicle and control technology, underwater navigation and positioning. He has instructed more than 50 doctoral and master students, published more than 40 SCI papers, and one textbook. He was awarded second prize of Technology Innovation in Heilongjiang Province and won second prize of Ocean Engineering Science and Technology Awards for his research achievement of "Underwater Operation Surveillance System Based on Acousto-Optic Vision".

Zhi Zong, former Dean of School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, specialist of high-tech ships project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Director of Academic Committee of Liaoning Light Ship Engineering Research Center, Deputy Chairman of the 6th and 7th Academic Committee of Ship Mechanics of China Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, member of Academic Committee of International Conference on High Performance Marine Vessels, and member of the third Academic Committee of State Key Laboratory of Industrial Equipment Structure Analysis.
Lanpo Li, a Senior Engineer, works on ship design and construction. He was once the chief designer of Maersk 16500DWT Chemical Ship in Jiangnan Shipyard Design Department. He currently serves as director of Ship Design Department of Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd., working on the design and construction of small and medium-sized liquefied gas carriers. He has participated in the design of 5,000-stere full-pressure LPG ships, 12,000-stere semi-cold and semi-pressure LEG ships, 27,500-stere LNG multi-purpose carriers, 22,000-stere LEG carriers and 17,000-stere LEG carriers, among which he held the post of the project technical manager of 12,000-stere semi-cold and semi-pressure LEG ships and 22,000-stere LEG carriers. These projects have been successfully delivered and put into operation. He has won the second and third prizes respectively of Shanghai Science Progress Award and the first prize of Nantong Science Progress Award.
