UAV-based ocean environment remote sensing platform, a strong and advanced platform based on unmanned aerial vehicle, aim to provide an in-situ remote sensing method applied to ocean environment and monitoring. This platform combined optical sensing equipment with UAV, and integrate monitoring, remote sensing, data feedback into one piece. User can accomplish data inversion and mapping with ground facilities. This method bring the adaptability and low-cost property of UAV into full play. And make advanced use of the efficiency of remote sensing, together with the large amount of data for multiple applications. UAV-based remote sensing platform is widely applied in ocean environment monitoring, red tide and chlorophyll for example, and oceanic atmosphere study like aerosol spatial distribution. In addition, it has a broad prospects for development and advanced usage, which suitably cater to the great demand of study on oceanography, ocean environment protection, and ocean exploration for human progress. This distinctive platform has lead a brand-new wave of interdisciplinary research and application.
